i spent most of the day in the shop but also managed some quality doggie-love time in the back yard. being easter sunday, it was really quiet, so i had a chance to sort all the doggie-rescue t-shirts and sweatshirts and do a stocktake on them. i took a doggie for a walk with one of the other volunteers, michelle. we took along some plush dog/easter egg gift sets that the shelter is selling to raise funds. we only managed to sell one - it was to this lovely man - i could not remember his name until after we walked away. i wish i had taken my camera to the park with me! more dogs to be seen on my flickr page :)

Susan that photo is gorgeous,it's hard to understand how those dogs could be abandoned.So glad you are helping out with Doggie Rescue it's a great thing to do.You're a star ! Happy Easter

Sounds like a good day. Did you get any chocolate Easter candy? I bought myself a big choco rabbit and a few Reese eggs. Yummy.
