a few things
a nice quiet monday. went over to visit miss e for morning tea and then we went to the supermarket, just to get a just few things, you know... i had to buy one of the supermarket carrybags as my 'few things' did not fit into my regular non-plastic carry bag that i always keep with me :)Serendipity?
you might remember that on saturday i went to see march of the penguins. today, in my usual fashion, i have spent way too long lurking about on flickr. glad i did. i found this photostream. another lucky girl who gets to spend some of her working hours in the company of some fine creatures.
the myriad ways i neglect my life - no. 454 in a series of 18,000,000:
would you believe that the light globe in my kitchen has been dead for over twelve months?? that is part of the reason why i don't cook much anymore; no fun cooking for one, less fun cooking for one in the dark. today, i decided i had to fix this. luckily, my neighbour has a small stepladder and she is a few inches taller than me. i now have light in my kitchen!! yeah!!
