freaky friday
today has disappeared in a haze.i had an interview today, for an internal position so i spent most of the day in a cloud of interview nerves. we went out for lunch to farewell our team coordinator (it was his job that i was interviewed for) so i had a glass of wine to calm my nerves :) the inquisitors were my manager and one of the guys who originally interviewed me so i did not have to worry too much about that. i just hate interviews and tend to freeze and have braindeath when asked to describe a situation blah blah blah...
i gave some thought to withdrawing my application and i seriously don't think that i will get the job but i had to give it a try; i'd have wasted too much mental effort wondering 'what if?' had i not gone through with it.
our systems crashed just after i got back to my desk and were down for an hour. a message came through at 4pm that it would be at least an hour before we could get back to work so our manager let us have an early mark. sweet :)
off to surry hills festival tomorrow morning to do a few hours on the doggierescue stall. the doggie love will do a lot to restore my spirits.
